Our law program features accelerated tracks with Duquesne University and Villanova University. As one of our law students, you can complete your undergraduate requirements at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College before transferring to a partner law school to complete your J.D. Please review these options below.

Law 3+3 Juris Doctor with Duquesne University

Program Description

Duquesne University and Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College have arranged for the direct-entry admission of qualified Ðãɫֱ²¥’s students to pursue a doctorate in law at the

This program is offered as a 3+3 pathway in which Ðãɫֱ²¥’s students spend three years at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s and then three years at Duquesne, with credits earned at the successful completion of the first year of law school transferring back to Ðãɫֱ²¥’s to satisfy final graduation requirements.

Benefits of this track include a waived application fee, preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool, and a guaranteed $25,000 per year scholarship and eligibility for traditional financial aid and scholarships in the 3+3 program.

Qualifications

To qualify, students must have:

  • Completed at least three years of coursework (minimum 90 credits) at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College including all CORE requirements and the major courses required in the student’s field of study. Transfer students are generally not eligible for the 3+3 track.
  • Earned a minimum GPA of 3.50 as calculated by the Law School Admission Council
  • Taken the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) no later than December of their junior year and earned a minimum score of 154 on the LSAT.
  • Obtained a strong recommendation from the Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College Pre-Law Advisor
  • Interviewed successfully with the School of Law prior to receiving a final admission decision
  • Completed application by February 1
  • Remained in good academic and disciplinary standing throughout their matriculation at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College
  • Met all fitness, character, and other criteria for admission required by the Office of Admission of the Duquesne School of Law
  • For the 3+3 program scholarship, the GPA and LSAT requirements set by Duquesne must be met to receive admission and the maximum scholarship. Currently, a student needs a Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College GPA of 3.5 and the LSAT minimum set by Duquesne, which is 154.

Program Description

Villanova University and Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College have arranged for the direct-entry admission of qualified Ðãɫֱ²¥’s students to pursue a doctorate in law at the

There are two pathways for qualified students:

  • A 3+3 pathway in which Ðãɫֱ²¥’s students spend three years at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s and then three years at Villanova, with credits earned at the successful completion of the first year of law school transferring back to Ðãɫֱ²¥’s to satisfy final graduation requirements
  • A 4+3 pathway in which Ðãɫֱ²¥’s students apply to Villanova in their senior year and matriculate at the School of Law after having graduated from Ðãɫֱ²¥’s

Benefits of these tracks include a waived application fee, preferred admission without the competition of the rest of the applicant pool, guaranteed annual full tuition scholarship during three years of law school in the 3+3 program, and guaranteed one-half tuition scholarship and eligibility for traditional financial aid and scholarships in the 4+3 program.

Qualifications

To qualify, students must have:

  • Completed at least three years of coursework (minimum 90 credits) at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College including all CORE requirements and the major courses required in the student’s field of study. Transfer students are generally not eligible for the 3+3 program.
  • Earn a GPA which exceeds the median GPA of the latest class to enter Villanova Law School. GPA is calculated by both Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College and the Law School Admission Council
  • Taken the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) no later than December of their junior year and earned a minimum score at or above the 75th percentile of the most recent class to matriculate at the Villanova School of Law
  • Obtained a strong recommendation from the Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College Pre-law Advisor
  • Completed application by February 1
  • Interviewed successfully with the Villanova School of Law prior to receiving a final admission decision
  • Remained in good academic and disciplinary standing throughout their matriculation at Ðãɫֱ²¥’s College
  • Met all fitness, character, and other criteria for admission required by the Office of Admission of the Villanova School of Law
  • For the 3+3 program scholarship, the GPA and LSAT requirements set by Villanova must be met to receive admission and the maximum scholarship.
